• More Than a Companion

You have not abandoned me in the face of trouble

And through series of unfortunate events

You are a friend of your words

    When all is lost

I know you will be the flicker of hope

    When I feel absent

I know you will be present

    Forgive me for any betrayals

My weakness falls with my denials

Yet again, when the storm hits

You are there to pick up the scattered pieces of my mind

When I’m shattered on the rocks, cold and lonely

I know you will fight until I conquer

    Like the pillar of fire

You’ve led me through the dark tunnels

    Through my grieves and sorrows

You’ve extended your hands to hold mine

    My dear and deepest friend

    Your deeds are astonishing

    Though old in its sayings

    Holding absolute truth

I will love you until forever ceases to exists
